Himachal Pradesh govt. declares incessant rain as State calamity
- Following the heavy loss of life and property caused by incessant rain that triggered landslips and floods, Himachal Pradesh has been declared as a ‘Natural Calamity Affected Area’.
Note
- As per the Landslide Atlas of India prepared by the National Remote Sensing Centre, ISRO, Hyderabad, all 12 districts of Himachal are susceptible to landslides.
