▪ India observes National Technology Day on May 11 every year to commemorate the successful nuclear test at Pokhran in 1998.
▪ Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee designated May 11 as National Technology Day in India in 1998.
▪ It was celebrated by the first time in 1999.
