Exercise DUSTLIK-VI
▪ Recently, the 6th edition of the India-Uzbekistan Joint Military Exercise DUSTLIK-VI officially commenced at the Foreign Training Node, Aundh (Pune).
▪ Exercise DUSTLIK is an annual bilateral military exercise conducted alternatively in India and Uzbekistan, with the previous edition (DUSTLIK-V) held in Termez District, Uzbekistan, in April 2024.
▪ The first edition was held in November 2019 in Uzbekistan, marking the beginning of a structured defence partnership.
▪ The central theme of DUSTLIK-VI is “Joint Multi-Domain Sub-Conventional Operations in a Semi-Urban Scenario”.
Operation Chakra V
▪ CBI Launches Operation Chakra-V against Transnational Organized Cybercrime/ Digital Arrests.
▪ It was launched to fight against transnational organised cyber-enabled financial crimes in India.
▪ Launched by: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI)
▪ It involves a multi-pronged strategy, focusing on identifying and dismantling the broader
infrastructure enabling cybercrimes like Digital Arrests in India.
Lifetime Achievement Award
▪ The Minister for Tamil Development and Information announced that a Lifetime Achievement Award and a prize of Rs. 10 lakhs will be given to an artist who has made outstanding achievements in literature, music, dance, drama, and folk arts.
▪ Tamil music festivals will be conducted in all districts. New courses will be introduced at the
Government College of Fine Arts in Kumbakonam.
▪ New undergraduate degree programs will be started at the Tamil Nadu Government Music College in Chennai.
▪ To enhance the acting skills of youth, a drama department will be established at Madurai
Government College of Fine Arts at a cost of Rs. 24 lakhs. The website of Tamil Nadu Dr. J..Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University will be upgraded. Additionally, a new application will be developed to improve students’ musical skills.
▪ The Chennai Government Museum will complete 175 years in April 2026, and to mark this
occasion, the museum complex will be upgraded at a cost of Rs. 100 crores.
