Laureus World Sports Awards
Madrid, April 22: In this year’s Laureus World Sports Awards, Swedish track and field star Mondo Duplantis won the award for Best Male Athlete, while American gymnastics star Simone Biles won the award for Best Female Athlete.
The Laureus Foundation from England honours those who excel in sports at the international level by presenting awards annually.
In this regard, the 25th annual awards ceremony was held in Madrid, the capital of Spain.
Simranpreet Wins Silver Medal: India Finishes in 3rd Place
At the World Cup Shooting Competition held in Peru, India’s Simranpreet Kaur Brar won a silver medal.
India secured 3rd place with a total of 7 medals including 2 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze.
