First India-France-UAE Trilateral Maritime Exercise held in Gulf of Oman
- The First edition of India, France and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Maritime Partnership Exercise was held in the Gulf of Oman in June 2023.
Aim
- To enhancing trilateral cooperation between the three navies.
- To address traditional and non-traditional threats in the maritime environment

- Indian Navy’s INS (Indian Naval Ship) Tarkash (A Second Talwar-class frigate commissioned in 2012)
- French Navy’s French Ship (FS) Surcouf with integral helicopters, French Rafale aircraft
- UAE Navy Maritime Patrol Aircraft

- The Gulf of Oman borders Iran and Pakistan on the north, Oman on the south and the UAE on the west.
