▪ As an alternative to the Central Government’s New National Education Policy 2020, a 14-member committee headed by former Chief Justice of Delhi High Court Justice D. Murugesan was formed in 2022 to design a specific education policy for Tamil Nadu
▪ This report was submitted to the Tamil Nadu Government on July 1, 2024
▪ The state education policy report has been divided separately into higher education and school education.
