International Traffic Signal Day

▪ Organized by: Greater Chennai Traffic Police (GCTP) in Chennai.
▪ Aim: To highlight the importance of traffic signals in ensuring safe and efficient road
use.
▪ This day is held every year to mark the anniversary of the world’s first traffic signal on August 5th, 1914.
