  • CARE Ratings Limited has been designated as the first PaRRVA entity to validate performance-related data.
  • National Stock Exchange of India Limited will act as the PaRRVA Data Centre (PDC), managing data infrastructure and processing.

About PaRRVA

PaRRVA is a SEBI-regulated system created to:

  • Verify the historical risk and return records of market intermediaries.
  • Ensure uniform standards in how returns are calculated and presented.
  • Offer investors reliable, comparable, and transparent performance information.

  • Enables regulated entities such as advisers, analysts, and algorithmic trading service providers to present performance data that has been independently verified.
  • Provides investors with credible, standardised, and comparable data to support better decision-making.
  • Allows the use of PaRRVA-certified performance figures in advertisements, ensuring compliance with SEBI norms.
  • Ensures that all risk-return metrics are validated independently and adhere to regulatory guidelines.

Compliance Requirements

  • Investment advisers and research analysts are required to register with PaRRVA within three months.
  • After a two-year transition period, only performance data verified by PaRRVA can be shared publicly.
