India’s First International IIT campus
- IIT Madras formally launched the Zanzibar campus of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in Zanzibar, Tanzania
- Zanzibar President and chairman of the Revolutionary Council Hussein Ali Mwinyi inaugurated the campus.
