Euthanasia: British Parliament Approves
▪ The British Parliament has approved a historic bill that allows for providing euthanasia (mercy killing) to those suffering from terminal illnesses facing death.
▪ In England and Wales, a person above 18 years of age who has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and is expected to die within six months can apply for artificial death to avoid mental and physical suffering in between.
