Natasa Pirc Musar elected as Slovenia’s first female President
- Lawyer Natasa Pirc Musar won the second round of Slovenia’s presidential election and is set to become the first female President of Slovenia.
- Pirc Musar won 54% of the votes, while her rival, right-wing politician and former Foreign Minister Anže Logar, won 46%.
- Pirc Musar will succeed President Borut Pahor, a centrist politician who has served as the President for two terms.
