India’s first transshipment port
- The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways has recently approved Adani Group’s Vizhinjam Port in Kerala to operate as India’s 1st transshipment port.
- The transshipment port facilitates the transfer of cargo from large vessels to smaller ones.
