‘Pratibimb’ module

  • 6,046 cyber criminals arrested with help of ‘Pratibimb’ module
  • It is a Geographic Information System (GIS)-based software
  • It was launched by the Union Home Ministry’s Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C)
  • The module ‘Pratibimb’ maps the locations of criminals and crime infrastructure on a map to give visibility to jurisdictional officers.
  • It is  to deal with all types of cybercrimes in the country in a coordinated and comprehensive manner.
  • The state-of-the-art ‘National Cyber Forensic Laboratory (Investigation)’ has been established as part of the I4C in New Delhi to provide early-stage cyber forensic assistance to Investigating Officers (IOs) of State/UT Police.

Rs. 2,347 Crore Released for Minority Development

  • Rs. 2,347 crore has been released as loan concession over the past three years, benefiting 5.50 lakh people from minority communities.
  • This was provided through the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC).
  • According to the “National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992,” people belonging to Buddhism, Christianity, Jainism, Islam, Parsi, and Sikhism are considered minorities.
