‘Pratibimb’ module
- 6,046 cyber criminals arrested with help of ‘Pratibimb’ module
- It is a Geographic Information System (GIS)-based software
- It was launched by the Union Home Ministry’s Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C)
- The module ‘Pratibimb’ maps the locations of criminals and crime infrastructure on a map to give visibility to jurisdictional officers.
- It is to deal with all types of cybercrimes in the country in a coordinated and comprehensive manner.
- The state-of-the-art ‘National Cyber Forensic Laboratory (Investigation)’ has been established as part of the I4C in New Delhi to provide early-stage cyber forensic assistance to Investigating Officers (IOs) of State/UT Police.
Rs. 2,347 Crore Released for Minority Development
- Rs. 2,347 crore has been released as loan concession over the past three years, benefiting 5.50 lakh people from minority communities.
- This was provided through the National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC).
- According to the “National Commission for Minorities Act, 1992,” people belonging to Buddhism, Christianity, Jainism, Islam, Parsi, and Sikhism are considered minorities.
