Fourth G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) Meeting
- The G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) meeting under the Indian Presidency was held during 12-13 October 2023 in Marrakech, Morocco.
- The meeting was organised in two sessions covering the global economy, strengthening MDBs and crypto assets.
- The G20 Finance Track saw key achievements in several areas, including –
- Strengthening MDBs to address the shared global challenges of the 21st century;
- Advancing Financial Inclusion and Productivity Gains through Digital Public Infrastructure;
- Crypto Assets Agenda.
- Managing global debt vulnerabilities;
- Financing cities of tomorrow;
- Enhancing tax transparency and capacity-building, as well as advancing the work on the two-pillar solution for addressing the tax challenges arising from the digitalisation of the economy; and
- Mobilising climate finance and enabling finance for Sustainable Development Goals.
