India’s longest glass skywalk
- The bridge has been opened for public use in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
- This glass footbridge, known as ‘Skywalk’, is located on the top of Mount Kailash in Visakhapatnam.
- It is built as a 55-meter-long can-delivery bridge at a height of about 1,000 feet above sea level.
- The glass of the bridge, built by the Visakhapatnam Municipal Development Authority at a cost of Rs. 7 crore, was imported from Germany.
