Prime Minister’s Employment Scheme for Developed India
▪ The Central Government’s Ministry of Labour and Employment has introduced an incentive scheme linked with employment to create new job opportunities
▪ In this scheme, first-time job seekers receive up to Rs. 15,000 as incentive
▪ This scheme has been introduced to create 3.5 crore job opportunities in various sectors including manufacturing by July 2027
▪ Through this, both the employing management and first-time job recipients will receive incentives
▪ The first phase of this scheme is being implemented from April 1, 2025 to July 31, 2027
