Redrafted criminal Bills
- Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced three redrafted Bills in the Lok Sabha to replace the existing Britishera criminal laws after withdrawing the three Bills that were introduced in August.
- Bharatiya Nyaya (Second) Sanhita Bill (BNSS), 2023 seeks to replace the Indian Penal Code of 1860
- Bharatiya Sakshya Bill, 2023 will replace Indian Evidence Act, 1872
- Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita Bill, 2023 will replace the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898.
