Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina scheme
▪ The Assam government has announced the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina scheme recently.
▪ Under this scheme girl students enrolled in Class 11, the first year of a degree programme, and the first year of a post-graduate programme in government-run schools, colleges, and universities will be provided with a monthly stipend.
▪ It is a fiscal scheme for girl students which aims to prevent their early marriages.

Jan Aushadhi Kendras in Nepal
▪ Nepal has approached India to set up Jan Aushadhi Kendras in their country, which would allow their citizens to benefit from low cost Indian generic medicines.
▪ Mauritius is the first foreign country to adopt ‘Jan Aushadhi Scheme’.
