Welfare Schemes TN-RISE initiative
- Around 130 enterprises and start-ups from across Tamil Nadu which are led by women entrepreneurs will get mentored under the Tamil Nadu Rural Incubator and Start-up Enabler (TN- RISE) initiative.
About TN-RISE
- It operates as a Special Purpose Vehicle under the Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project (TNRTP).
- Aim – To enable rural women entrepreneurs to have access to the government and its schemes
- Women Start Up Council is formed under TN-
- Aim – To address to the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in accessing credit and marketing opportunities.
