Ayushman Bharat
▪ About 14 lakh people over 70 years of age have been enrolled in the past month in Ayushman Bharat, the central government’s free medical insurance scheme.
▪ Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, medical insurance up to Rs. 5 lakhs can be obtained.
▪ Since the launch of Ayushman Bharat scheme in 2018, 35.89 crore insurance cards have been distributed to the public.
