New code for Anganwadis to track children with disabilities

- The Union Women and Child Development Ministry launched a special protocol, “Anganwadi Protocol” for Anganwadi workers which will help them track and help children with disabilities in the 0-6 years age group.
- It aims to satisfy the objectives of Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0
Fast track courts extended

- The Union Cabinet approved the continuation of fast-track courts, dedicated to dispensation of justice in cases of sexual offences, for a period of three years up to March 31, 2026.
- The Fast Track Special Court (FTSC) is a centrally sponsored scheme which was launched in 2019.
- FTSC was implemented by the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice.
- It aims to ensure the swift disposal of cases related to rape and those coming under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Drones to 15,000 women’s groups
- The Centre has launched a scheme under which drones will be provided to 15,000 progressive women self-help groups (SHG) for agricultural purposes.
- The drone services are rented out to farmers for agricultural purposes such as nano fertilizer and pesticide applications.
