Carbon Dioxide Levels Reach a New High – UN Report
 According to the United Nations World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO₂) in the atmosphere reached a record high in 2024.
 The 2024 level was the highest ever recorded since measurements began in 1957.
 The UN stated that greenhouse gases trapped more of the sun’s heat, intensifying global warming and leading to frequent natural disasters.
 The UN emphasized that reducing carbon emissions is essential not only for climate stability but also for economic security and social welfare.
 In addition to CO₂, other greenhouse gases like methane (CH₄) and nitrous oxide (N₂O) also reached record levels in 2024.
