Scrub Typhus – Bacteria
▪ Scrub typhus is caused by bacteria called Rickettsia. When mites, insects, or other organisms
infected with Rickettsia bite humans, they can transmit scrub typhus fever.
▪ The main symptoms include fever, headache, body weakness, and rashes.
