India’s first mRNA vaccine against Omicron approved
- GEMCOVAC-OM, India’s first indigenous mRNA vaccine for the Omicron variant of the novel corona virus, was approved under emergency use guidelines by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI).
Note:
- This comes a year after the Pune-based Gennova Bio pharmaceuticals Ltd. got approval for GEMCOVAC-19 against COVID-19.
