ISRO’s Successful SPADEX Spacecraft Docking: A Milestone Achievement
▪ ISRO has successfully docked twin SPADEX spacecraft as a pilot effort toward establishing a space station. With this, India has emerged as the fourth country after America, China, and Russia to achieve progress in spacecraft docking.
▪ ISRO plans to establish the ‘Bharatiya Antariksha Station’ by 2035. Dedicated spacecraft for this purpose are set to be launched in 2028, with preparations currently underway.
