Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik launched the ‘Jal sathi’ program which will ensure supply of safe drinking water to all households in the state. During the programme launch, he distributed water quality testing kits and POS (point of sale) machines to women volunteers being called as- ‘Jalasathi’. About Jalshakthi Implementation: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Water Corporation of Odisha (WTACO) and women federations in Bhubaneswar (Odisha Capital) for implementation of ‘Jalsathi’ programme. Coverage:Initially, the ‘Jalsathi’ programme will be implemented in as many as 8 wards of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) under the 5T initiative of housing and Urban Development.

Odisha government included its agriculture department in state’s “Mo Sarkar” scheme
The Odisha Government included the department of agriculture and farmer’s empowerment in the “Mo Sarkar” scheme as an expansion of the ‘5T’ initiative. The plan will soon be implemented by the Department of Higher Education (DHE). Key Points: The ‘Mo Sarkar program’also called ‘My Government’ was launched on 2nd October 2019, it was first implemented in the department of Home and Health. The aim of the program is to provide service with dignity to people who are coming to government offices for different purposes. The process will be done by collecting feedback on the behavior and professionalism of government officers. The aim of the ‘5T’ (teamwork, technology, transparency, time leading to transformation)is to provide quality governance for the people.
