Millets Experience Centre Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will inaugurate agri cooperative-NAFED’s exclusive Experience Millets Center at New Delhi. The millet experience centre has been designed with a distinct concept for millet-based products featuring a visual display of states that are major millet cultivators. It bears recalling that in order to further the cause of Millets, the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare has collaborated with NAFED to successfully commemorate the International Year of Millets (IYM)-2023 through a range of initiatives. About National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) The National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India (NAFED) is an organisation of marketing cooperatives for agricultural produce. It was established on October 2 ,1958 under the Multi State Cooperative Societies Act. It was set up with the aim of promoting co-operative marketing of agricultural produce that would benefit farmers.
