Navigation facilities for visually impaired was inaugurated in Chandigarh railway station in Punjab. It is fifth in the countryand first in North India to have this facilities for visually impaired. Key Points: It was developed by Indian Railways with the help of NGO ‘Anuprayaas’. Braille Tactile Map, signages are also installed. This helps the visually impaired passengers to find their needs in Chandigarh railway station.
