Stalin announced that the Tamil Pudhalvan scheme will be launched in Coimbatore on August 9. Over 28 lakh boys are expected to benefit from the scheme during 2024-25. The scheme is similar to the Pudhumai Penn initiative which is launched for About Tamil Pudhalvan scheme Objective - To promote higher education among boy students from economically disadvantaged Benefit - ₹1,000 a month in financial assistance would be provided to students pursuing higher education after completing Classes VI to XII in Government and Government aided schools.
