For the first time in the country, the Food Museum is being constructed on behalf of the Food Corporationof India at a cost of Rs 1.23 crore. The Food Corporation of India was set up in 1964 by the Federal Government.Under the Public Distribution Scheme, farmers can distribute food products at reasonable prices and distribute food products throughout the country and safeguard against food shortages. The organization has been ensuring food security for the country for more than 50 years.
