Welfare Schemes Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina scheme ▪ The Assam government has announced the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina scheme recently. ▪ Under this scheme girl students enrolled in Class 11, the first year of a degree programme, and the first year of a post-graduate programme in government-run schools, colleges, and universities will be provided with a monthly stipend. ▪ It is a fiscal scheme for girl students which aims to prevent their early marriages.
