Govt – Welfare oriented Govt schemes, their utility New code for Anganwadis to track children with disabilities The Union Women and Child Development Ministry launched a special protocol, “Anganwadi Protocol” for Anganwadi workers which will help them track and help children with disabilities in the 0-6 years age group. It aims to satisfy the objectives of Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 Fast track courts extended The Union Cabinet approved the continuation of fast-track courts, dedicated to dispensation of justice in cases of sexual offences, for a period of three years up to March 31, 2026. The Fast Track Special Court (FTSC) is a centrally sponsored scheme which was launched in 2019. FTSC was implemented by the Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice. It aims to ensure the swift disposal of cases related to rape and those coming under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Drones to 15,000 women’s groups The Centre has launched a scheme under which drones will be provided to 15,000 progressive women self-help groups (SHG) for agricultural purposes. The drone services are rented out to farmers for agricultural purposes such as nano fertilizer and pesticide applications.
