Gyanendra Pratap Singh Appointed as CRPF Director General ▪ The Ministry of Personnel has appointed Assam Police Chief Gyanendra Pratap Singh as the Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). ▪ Currently, Gyanendra Pratap Singh is serving as a 1991-batch IPS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre. ▪ Former CRPF DG Anish Dayal Singh retired 2023 , Subsequently, Vitul Kumar was appointed as the acting officer of CRPF.
