The Government of India (GoI)has officially launched its 1stcomprehensiven coronavirus (COVID-19)tracking appcalled‘AarogyaSetu (whichtranslates from Sanskrit to ‘A bridge of health’)’ for Android and iOS (iPhone Operating System) users to connect health services with the people to fight the novel corona virus outbreak. Key Points: The app has been developed by the National Informatics Center (NIC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) in just 4 days. AarogyaSetu app: What is it? The app notifies the user via smartphone location data & Bluetooth whether they came in contact with someone infected with Coronavirus within 6 feet radius. It is available in 11 languages including English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, among others and it is now in beta version with almost all the functions of beta version.

Government of India launches coronavirus tracking app Corona Kavach
The Government of Indiahas launched a Coronavirus risk-tracking Application (app) called “Corona Kavach”. The app was jointly developed by the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) & the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). The app uses a person’s location to assess whether they are in the highrisk geographical zone or not and the app is available on the Google Play Store. Key Points: About Corona Kavach:The app is designed to provide information about COVID-19 and capture information. The app uses the information of all the identified positive cases identified in the country so far.
