UNESCO World Heritage List The Charaideo Moidams was recently included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site as the 43rd site from India. Charaideo Moidam is a 700-year-old mound-burial system of the Ahom dynasty from Assam. It is the first cultural site to be added to the list from the Northeast region. They are famously called the “Pyramids of ” After Kaziranga and Manas National Parks, it is Assam’s third World Heritage Site.
