▪ T.N.’s Idhayam Kappom scheme found effective in improving survival rates of patients
▪ The govt. launched the initiative in 2023 to provide cardiac loading doses at Primary health care , Health sub centre PHCs/HSCs to prevent deaths due to cardiac illness.
▪ The State government launched the initiative to provide cardiac loading doses (aspirin, clopidogrel and atorvastatin) at PHCs/HSCs to prevent deaths due to cardiac illness,
▪ Demographic data of the study population showed that most of the patients were men and almost half of them were aged 45 to 60 years
