Nimirndhu Nil” Project
The Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises announced that awareness and training programs called “Nimirndhu Nil” (Stand Tall) will be implemented at a cost of Rs. 19 crores for 6 lakh students studying in 2,000 educational institutions to encourage innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among youth.
The maximum limit of the 10 percent additional investment subsidy provided to micro manufacturing enterprises has been increased from Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs.
A Coconut Fiber Value-Added Product Development Center will be established at a cost of Rs. 9.86 crores
