Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam
- Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam has helped in early detection of health issues.
- The preliminary report shows that among 6,503 people who were surveyed, 4,793 (73.7%) had undergone diabetes screening in the last one year. Of them, 3,433 persons (71%) were screened for diabetes mellitus through the scheme.
About the scheme:
- This scheme was launched by Chief Minster MK Stalin on August 05,2021 in Krishnagiri district for assisting the patients with treating the non-communicable diseases.
- Under this scheme, the patients will be able to access health and medical care facilities for home treatment.
