World’s ‘Longest’ Gas Supply Deal
- Qatar and China signed the 27-year natural gas supply deal which will be the longest gas supply dead any country ever made.
- The China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) will get 4 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually from the state energy company’s new North Field East project.
- The deal marks the longest gas supply agreement in the history of the LNG industry.
