UGC set to constitute expert committee to update syllabi of NET
- The University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to update the syllabi of the National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as assistant professors in various subjects.
- The UGC-NET is held in 83 subjects twice a year, usually in June and December.
- The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the UGC-NET.
