Indian Army & Private firm developed the World’s Cheapest Gun Shot Locator “Parth”

  • The Indian Army’s College of Military Engineering (CME), Pune, Maharashtra, jointly with a private firm developed gunshot locators named as “Parth”. The device is much cheaper than the imported ones. Major Anoop Mishra displayed the Parth gunshot locator at DefExpo 2020 held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (UP).
  • Major Mishra had developed a bulletproof jacket for protection against sniper bullets & a helmet which is claimed first in the world that can stop AK-47(Automatic Kalashnikov- 47) bullets from a distance of 10 meters.
