The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Rishikesh, in partner with BEL (Bharat Electronics Limited) has set up India’s 1st remote health monitoring system. The system is to be used in the state of Uttarakhand to monitor COVID-19 patients.
IIT Roorkee in association with AIIMS-Rishikesh prepares low-cost portable ventilator ‘Prana-vayu’
IIT (Indian Institute of Technology)- Roorkee, Uttarakhandin collaboration with AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Science) Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, has developed a low-cost portable ventilator called ‘Prana-vayu’ costing just Rs.25,000. The commercial product will be around 1.5 feet by 1.5 feet for better portability.

The Minister of Health and Family Welfare launched CoNTec. CoNTeC is COVID-19 Telecommunication Centre.The platform aims to connect the doctors in the country with AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences). Highlights The platform is to be active 24/7. Doctors will be available in the platform throughout to answer queries and help in real time treatment of COVID-19 patients. About CoNTeC CoNTeC is a telecommunication hub. The hub will act 24/7 where experts from different clinical domains will answer questions from specialists spread across the country. The initiation is to be extended widely all over the world in the future.
