It aims to act with the help of the private sector to prevent the outbreak of the coronavirus. Its main function is to strengthen the supply chain so that essential health equipment and medicines are available. The platform has been built with the help of 200 corporate leaders around the world. WEF is an international institution, founded by Klaus Schwab to improve the state of the world through public-private collaboration. It was founded in 1971.
