The National Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development (Nabard) launched ‘e-Shakti’ for digitisation of all Self-help Groups (SHGs) of the district. Nabard had taken up two districts Dhule in Maharashtra and Ramgarh in Jharkhand for digitisation of SHG data last year. Jagatsinghpur is the first district of the State to be covered by ‘e-Shakti’ programme under Digital India scheme of the Centre. In Tamil Nadu, It will be implemented at Tiruvannamalai , Virudhunagar, nammakal and Nagapatnam.
