‘Mupperum Vizha’ commemorating the 200th birth anniversary of Saint Vallalar, the 156th year of the starting of Dharma Salai and the 152nd year of Jyothi Dharisanam the Government of Tamil Nadu has constituted a 14-member special committee under the chairmanship of Dr. P.K. Krishnaraj Vanavarayar to conduct the Thiruvarudu Prakasam Vallalar Mupperum festival in a grand manner. A meeting of the committee was held under the chairmanship of Endowments Minister Sekar Babu Event till October The ‘Mupperum Vizha’ has been observed in major cities across the State since October last year. It will go on until October this year.
