The Hornbill festival was celebrated in Tripura, Agartala. Chief Minister (CM) Biplab Kumar Dev inaugurated the 2 day hornbill festival at Baramura hill (in western tripura). The festival was celebrated for the1st time in Tripura. Aim: The aim of the festival is to raise awareness among people for bird conservation & to boost tourism.
