Important Days International Cheetah Day – December 4 The day is celebrated on December 4 every year to raise awareness among the public about their threat of extinction. The day was first celebrated in 2010. Theme 2023: Celebrating the Fastest Land Animals. Awards and Honour Indira Gandhi Peace Prize 2023 Classical pianist Daniel Barenboim and peace activist Ali Abu Awwad have been named the winners of the Indira Gandhi Prize for Peace, Disarmament and Development for 2023. They were awarded for their efforts in bringing together the youth and people of Israel and the Arab world for a nonviolent resolution of the Israel Palestine conflict.
