IRDAI issued Bima Vahak guidelines (BHG) IRDAI recently released the Bima Vahak guidelines (BHG) to establish women centric distribution channel that focuses on enhancing insurance inclusion and awareness in every village. It also aims to improve the accessibility and availability of insurance in every nook and corner of the country. It facilitates filling proposal forms, facilitating KYC process for customers, issuance of insurance policies, etc. It is a part of IRDAI’s strategy to achieve its ‘Insurance for All goal’. About IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) Statutory body under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Finance. Constituted by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999. Formation – 1999 Chairperson - Debasish Panda Headquarters – Hyderabad.
