India claims eighth Asian kabaddi title The Indian men’s kabaddi team beat Iran 42-32 to defend its Asian Championships title in BUSAN (KOREA). It was India’s eighth title in the continental championships. Asian Squash Mixed Doubles title The Indian pair of Dipika Pallikal-Harinderpal Singh Sandhu clinched the gold medal at the Asian Mixed Doubles Squash Championship at Huangzhou in China. The Asian Games will witness mixed doubles for the first time. Though squash has been a part of the Asian Games for more than two decades, the mixed doubles event will be a new addition this time. Lausanne Diamond League 2023 Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra continued his tremendous form spot in the Lausanne leg of the Diamond League, his second straight win of the season in the prestigious one-day meeting series.
