Union Minister of Human Resource Development (HRD) Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ launched a unique MHRD All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) COVID-19 Student Helpline Portal to address the difficulties faced by students due to closure of colleges & hostels since March 25 because of the national lockdown. About AICTE: It was set up in November 1945 as a national-level Apex Advisory Body to conduct a survey on the availability of technical education and to promote growth in the country in a coordinated and coordinated manner.
